| My mom has been in and out of the hospital with IBS type symptoms (ing nurse mentioned your product and how it had been helping her elderly mother, we ordered it right away. The results have been fantastic. She has occasional diarrhea but only because she eats too much chocolate and NOTHING like the problems before. We also started her on the Peppermint Oil capsules. She used to complained of pain in her stomach and we could not figure out why it hurt.. SInce she has been taking the capsules she no longer complains. She doesn't like peppermint in tea and such but no problem with the peppermint oil capsules. I recommend it to anyone I hear of having these types of problems. | I started taking these over 3 years ago to help relieve IBS symptoms before meals. I use them as directed and as needed and they have been effective at relieving gas and associated discomfort when my stomach is empty. I also use Acacia Senegal Tummy Fibre before all meals to help prevent symptoms. Earlier this year my symptoms got worse and I'm working with a Nurse Practitioner to improve my digestive process. I told her about the above items and she was pleased to get the information. In the last few months, I've had problems with stomach disturbances during the night, especially after about 4:00am. When that happens, I take a Peppermint Capsule and get relief within 15 - 30 minutes, which allows me to get back to sleep. The relief lasts for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or longer. | Thanks for the incredibly swift delivery. I have been having uncomfortable symptoms for almost 2 years that were affecting my active life style and energy levels for work and play. I am having a great deal of success with the peppermint caps to ease abdominal bloating, gas, and pain. It is almost too good to be true. The fibre is helping also...I had tried Metamucil a year or so ago and it exacerbated my symptoms...so it has come as a relief to find something that is providing relief from constant diarrhea. I have also been using a probiotic that I did not purchase from "Help for IBS" and I believe that is helping as well. I have been trying some of the recipes in Heather's book. Some I like, some I don't, but what I really like is that I can take the ingredients in any recipe and use them however I like, knowing they are all "safe" foods for IBS...or at least so far they are my safe foods as well. I have followed all of the instructions on all of your products to get the maximum benefit and it has really helped! So thank you! | GREAT NATURAL REMEDIES FOR IBS | |
| Both the teas are great after meals to counteract IBS symptoms from eating animal fats and deep fried foods. If you have acid reflux conditions or entrapped gas, the peppermint capsules work better than charcoal, simethicone, or anything else...at least for me. With these herbs, I can eat fast foods, prime rib, dim sum, etc. if I don't overdo it. Plus, the fennel tea is a good diuretic. So with this stuff, if your IBS is not as bad as Heather's, you can have some fun feasting. | |

| This is my 2nd order of the tea bags and I have already given you a review with my fist order. I find the bags so much easier to use rather than the loose leaf form and always have a cup of either peppermint tea or the fennel tea every morning, as well as a cup of one or the other along with your courgette bread during the day. | As the directions show, I started with a small quantity, 1/2 teaspoon twice a day and have gradually worked up to 1 teaspoon twice a day. I am still having a lot of problems, especially with excessive gas, so am I using too much or too little? I am going to give it another 4 weeks. If I don't see much improvement, I will return the other two unopened packages. I am also using the peppermint oil once a day at lunch time. | |||||

| I take a T. in juice or tea before every meal. I mix it up in a insulated mug when going places. My doctor also has me mixing a probiotic with it. This plus taking Pancreaze before each meal. I've suffered with IBS-D almost all my life alternating with IBS-C. Sometimes I've gone months and years with out an episode and then something would set me off. Usually fresh fruits and vegetables plus stress. Still have to be careful what I eat...not fresh fruits and vegetables, watch my fats, etc.....getting plenty of rest. Getting tired seems to be a factor. When I had my gallbladder out about 14 years ago my IBS has been harder to maintain. I had taken Metamucil for years, switched to Citrucil, before finding your product online. I've used your fiber, teas, and your book. Right now I'm doing better than I have in two years. I've only had two episodes this month. Not sure what caused them. Oh, yes. I have used the hypnosis cd (3 times)...I forget the name...Dr. Michael seems to ring a bell. I'm 77 years old so I tend to forget some things. All in all I'm doing better.....as long as I take my meds, watch my diet, and stress level. Thanks for all your help. Sincerely, Marilyn | |
