| This company offers great products and I'm happy there's a company out there that caters to people with IBS because we need all the help we can get! However, this product didn't work for me. I tried it for about a week at the lowest dose and it made me very nauseous and gave me a bad stomach ache. Once I stopped taking it I felt better in a day. | Constipation runs in my family...along with having divaticulitas, fibro, lactose intolerance and also low iron now, changes to what I had been doing had to change. My brother and sister along with me would take the little red pills in hopes of keep going with you the pain/bleeding and uncomfortable bloating. But using the acacia liberally in food or drink has relieved all of those problems. Even after I had to start taking iron pills! | I started having issues with irregularity a few months ago and thought I'd either have to buy over-the-counter stuff that would cause the opposite issue, or just deal with it and accept that this was my life. | Hi Heather - The day I received the product I started with 1/2 tsp. with breakfast and evening meal. After 2 weeks that seemed too much as I had so much gas and diarrhea. I now take 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. with breakfast only and it is working out fine. No cramps or pain and stools are firming up. Certainly not as much gas. Thanks for your great products. I still use the peppermint tea and peppermint and fennel capsules to great affect. | |
