| I have to say that the first time I tried this, I gave up too soon. In desperation, I decided to try again. With patience, I'm on my way. I also have a lot more knowledge this time with soluble/insoluble. Working between that knowledge and acacia tummy fiber, I'm having better success. With both constipation and diarrhea, it's much more difficult, but stick with it. It probably has taken me longer in that I moved with my increases in the acacia much slower and put more time in between increases to see stabilization. One time, I even had problems after increasing and took a step back and decreased it back a little longer. Thus, patience! | |

| My IBS runs from severe diarrhea to constipation and I have despaired of being normal again. But this stuff is working. It is a slow process, building up to being able to take enough to alleviate symptoms, but I am up to a tablespoon a day and my constipation is sloooowly disappearing and I am comfortable again. I have had NO DIARRHEA since I began the regimen and NO CRAMPING! And I am back to successfully eating sourdough bread (my problem is not gluten even though I have been off it for 3+ years on the advice of my gastroenterologist). | All I can say is , WOW! When I got my book, I honestly felt like she was speaking directly to me. All of the struggles I've been dealing with were written right there. I now feel a new sense of comfort knowing I'm not alone or crazy. I am very new to IBS, and have been only dealing with it for a little over a year now. I tried the FODMAP diet, all types of probiotics and nothing really seemed to work. I am now 100% committed to the dietary plan in this book. | This is a soothing tea, which I drink at least 4-5 cups a day. Interestingly enough, the tea bags appear to no longer be biodegradable - they are made of a cloth mesh. But the flavor comes through. | My favorite products, however, are the tummy fiber and peppermint oil supplements. Using Heather's specific instructions on how to take the proper amount of tummy fiber for my severe IBS-D, I have literally had no diarrhea for the past 4 months. The peppermint supplements are wonderful to calm my colon contractions and they help with pain as well. I started the IBS diet on Jan. 1, 2019 after reading about it on Heather's website. I bought the IBS books(first year and cookbook) in February, and now I can leave the house again to go places. DAILY. I am able to exercise daily. I have lost 60 lbs. and I wasn't even trying to lose weight!! By cutting out red meat, dairy and high fats, and by balancing my soluble/insoluble fiber intake, I feel so much better now!!!!
