| Heather, I live in a small town in South Carolina, and so many of the products required are not available here whatsoever. I am on disability and cannot afford to order all the special products either. I also cannot easily get to Columbia, 45 miles away, to try and find them without a great deal of difficulty. I apologize for having to just tell you the truth, but for those of us who are disabled and living in more rural areas, the cookbook just is not that helpful, plus some of the recipes just have far far too many ingredients, including those which are unobtainable. But thank you for trying to write a cookbook for people nonetheless. | |||||

| After reading the following article: http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/peppermint-000269.htm, I decided to look for an enteric coated product and found Heather's Tummy Tamers. Although i am a male, this product is so effective that I do not care that it comes in a girly bottle. It works for me and it works well. I take it once or twice a day except that I sometimes take an extra dose when I have an upcomming stressful meeting (then I take a dose as soon as the symptoms start). Before Heather's Tummy Tamers I had occasional heart burn and I was concerned that this would make it worse. That has not been the case. Over the last month and a half of using this, I have had no heartburn. I do not like the taste of peppermint, and with these although I get a calming feel of mint in my chest and stomach, I do not get a mouthful of peppermint flavor. Liked the effect so much had my Dr. (Gastroenterologist) write a script for it - so I can claim it under FSA/HSA reimbursments. | |

| I have had IBS since 1999 diagnosed at 55 yrs old, with a stressful career in real estate, took a trip to Europe just before '99 and got realy bad sick on foreign stomach bug, and was nursing my Mom thru 10 yrs. of Alzh. Before I finally saw a doctor for my problem, I went 21 days without a bowl movement. My doctors could not believe their eyes when they saw my x-rays. They called me there poster child. | Quick relief of cramps with peppermint and fennel tea | |
| I just had my third bout of IBS in as many years. This one seemed to be lasting a bit longer than usual, so I came across Heather's website and found a wealth of info. I ordered the teas and capsules and after trying them almost within 10 minutes the cramps stopped. In a few days, the IBS had subsided greatly.
