| I have been using the peppermint capsules for only a short time (10 days), and have experienced a great improvement in my IBSD. Have noticed that as long as I watch my diet in addition to the capsules I feel good. I was feeling so good that I ate a jelly filled donut with thick peanut butter icing striped with chocolate 2 days ago and, believe me, I paid for giving in to temptation. | I felt very fortunate to find this site. I got the book which is somewhat helpful- the fennel tea- which is a little helpful. I put a lot of stake in the peppermint caps. I found IB guard while waiting for my shipment to come & the improvement was remarkable. My caps came- & I thought they would be even better( less expensive too!). Halfway thru the first bottle, I started to backslide & the pain returned. I was heartbroken & upset. I looked at the ingredients more carefully & see SUCROSE. Why? Is probably in the capsule, but why?? One thing I did determine is I can have no artificial sweetener of any kind. I just assumed someone as careful about what they eat as you would be immaculately careful. I switched back to IB guard & am on the upswing again. So disappointed in your product | |||||
