| I have struggled with constipation my whole life and last year had a diagnosis of Collagenous Colitis. Traditional fiber products made my symptoms worse. I have used Heather's for 3 months. I followed the directions to slowly increase the dosage and stuck with it the first month out of desperation. Finally on month 2, I started to see results. Now, the constipation is gone and I am experiencing a new normal. My only complaint is that the product has a very narrow temperature range at which it will dissolve. | I have been using this fiber product for six years, as originally recommended by the medical staff at John Bastyr. I developed gut issues at the same time I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. I was prescribed Metformin HCL, which did wonders for my numbers, but also aggravated my gut issue problem, where problems occurred in the middle of the night. With a change in diet (no milk or cheese) and taking the fiber twice a day, it has helped me control my issues with the colon. I used to be able to obtain Heather's Tummy Fiber at Vitamin Life in Downtown Redmond, but they closed the retail store and switched to purely online sales. | I have been using this for several months and although it has helped somewhat my final review is still out. I am still have bouts of diarrhea and bloating. Not sure if this is because I have microscopic colitis and IBS although I really haven't had a doctor diagnose IBS. I think I will continue to use though and maybe get some more tests to get a definitive diagnosis. Fennel Tea and Peppermint oil are helpful also! I do like to read the daily emails and try to follow the advice. | |||||

| This acacia fiber is just as Heather has described--it has been very helpful for my gut. I've gradually increased my dose as she recommends, and I think I've finally gotten to the amount I need. I have mixed the Tummy Fiber with water on a 1 tsp. to 1 tablespoon water ratio so that I always have about one cup of liquified Tummy Fiber ready in a jar in the frig. This makes it super-convenient to put a tablespoon of the liquid (equivalent to about 2 grams fiber) into drinks or soup. Yes--I am very pleased with Heather's Tummy Fiber, and I will order it again on a regular basis. | |
